Rawwater: building on the achievement of ISO 9001:2015

Earlier this year, Rawwater successfully made the transition from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015.

Achieving the latest internationally recognised standard for quality management, however, is only part of the story in our commitment to provide the highest levels of customer focus, and ensure continuous improvement in everything we do.

iso 9001From testing, research and consultancy in the fields of well technology, water management and improved oil recovery, to the development of high integrity reversible metal seals for the nuclear industry, we continually challenge ourselves to meet the highest standards and the expectations of our customers.

We are committed to delivering projects on time and in budget, and to meeting all applicable legislation and regulatory requirements.

We continually review our key processes to ensure they remain effective to fulfil customer requirements, and we have further strengthened our UK-based scientific and engineering teams.

We have a framework in place for setting measurable objectives to ensure our processes remain effective. While as further recognition of the significance we place on the quality management principles of ISO 9001:2015, we have created - and faithfully adhere to - the ‘Rawwater Five Ps’. They reflect:

  • The Provenance of our knowledge base,
  • Our longstanding Pedigree in R&D,
  • The Proof of our expertise, underpinned through third-party validation,
  • Our commitment to Precision in everything we do,
  • Our Probity – our commitment to honesty, integrity and transparency in all our activities.

Setting industry standards in our specialist fields, we lead the way in contract R&D for oilfield souring forecasting and mitigation. We combine engineering with reservoir microbiology to deliver solutions for facilities design, oilfield souring, biofouling and microbial corrosion. Our engineering division is well known for its expertise in the development and application of molten bismuth alloys as a specialist alternative to cement for sealing within onshore and offshore oil and gas wells. The division is also creating a range of new alloys to provide secure, high integrity, reversible metal seals for a number of applications outside the oil and gas sector.

Never content to rest on our laurels, we will continue to build on our ISO 9001:2015 achievement, for the benefit of our customers, employees and associates.
