The inventor of the Bismuth Plug, Bob has worked with bismuth alloy seals for almost 30 years. Bob serves as a technology developer for the oil industry, with activity in the exploitation of innovative technologies for Shell International and BP.
Before establishing Rawwater, he worked at UMIST (University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology), developing technologies in explosive cutting and cladding, corrosion, subsea engineering and well technology.
Bob's oilfield technologies include subsea reservoir injection systems, bismuth alloy well-sealing and forecasting tools for oilfield reservoir souring.

Matt’s expertise lies in understanding and managing problems associated with microbiological biofouling in the upstream oil & gas industry. A regular speaker at key industry events, his areas of interest include oilfield reservoir souring, souring remediation and control, laboratory-based oilfield microbiology simulation studies, and oilfield reservoir souring forecasting and modelling.
As a highly respected microbiologist, Matt is acutely aware of the importance of providing Rawwater’s global client base with cost-effective treatment strategies to mitigate oilfield souring.

Kat heads up Rawwater Applied Technology Ltd, the company responsible for developing Rawwater’s M3 Molten Metal Manipulation leak-sealing capabilities for various industry sectors and successfully applying the technology to each customer’s specific needs.
Currently leading the development of M3 Molten Metal Manipulation for use in nuclear decommissioning and the prevention of SF6 greenhouse gas leaks in power distribution, Kat offers a unique perspective into the requirements of the nuclear sector. Before joining Rawwater, Kat was a key account director with the UK's National Nuclear Laboratory Ltd (NNL).

Project & Operations Manager – Metal Seals
A specialist in quality production systems and techniques, Nicola uses her considerable knowledge to assist in the development, commercialisation and delivery of our M3 Molten Metal Manipulation programme.
Working in association with our metallurgists and dedicated engineers, Nicola’s responsibilities surround SF6 leak sealing, transformer oil leak sealing, as well as various remote leak recovery challenges for customers around the globe.
Before joining Rawwater, Nicola worked as Logistics and Manufacturing Manager for a leading exhaust systems supplier.

A vastly experienced project manager, with more than 25 years’ expertise of change and implementation programmes, Mags is responsible for the smooth progression of a number of our M3 Molten Metal Manipulation leak-sealing projects for customers across a range of industries. During her career, Mags has worked on complex projects for big pharma, as well as for energy and utilities distribution. Describing her role at Rawwater, she says: “It’s incredibly rewarding to use our innovative technologies to solve exceptionally challenging environmental problems.”
